Skeleton speed and Six Harmonies

This will be about my current understanding of the six harmonies and skeleton speed. The goal of this is to draw conversation between into our own understanding of these two concepts. I’m not going to go too in depth as I want to explain my thoughts in a simple but practical manner.

Skeleton Speed

To me this represents the reaction of the muscular skeletal and nervous system. This has to happen first before anything else as nothing be faster than our own nervous system. And example of this is when we slide step forward and punch or an application in class. Without even thinking about it our body reacts, engaging the muscles in the most efficient way and the technique begins.

Six harmonies

After skeleton speed has started and the technique begins for the first 150-250 milliseconds. Our brain now reacts to the nervous system and has to figure out which limbs need to finish first, middle and last. Along with what needs to accelerate faster than the rest in order to finish at the same time. This can be where our intent is implemented as we can chose how the technique finishes thanks to our six harmonies.
